In this discussion, we are going to see the pros reason about allowing companies amass personal data for behavioral targeting. As the information, this discussion will be defided into 2 parts. Here we go to the part 1.

The ability of companies in collecting their customers personal data will be very beneficial. Especially in doing advertising. Rather than advertise product generally, it will be more efficient and effective if the company send the product advertisement directly to the customers based on their behavioral searching history. For example, a girl who always search about fashion and make up things, will become the target for fashion boutique advertisement. So every time the girl open the internet page, this boutique can send the product advertisement there.


2. Know your customer very well


As the internet continues to open up a wealth of marketing opportunities the need to stay directly in tune with customers’ specific wants and needs will increase twofold. In order to market a product it will no longer be enough to discuss how a product works, but how a product can work for the consumer. Thus, an effective consumer marketing strategy is needed in order to create a solid customer base that recommends your services or products and continues to return for repeat visits.

Marketers have to understand their creation deeply, and have the guts to do marketing without fear. It means knowing their customers well, and understanding that their customers are not the sales reps as in the old type, but the customers themselves. Marketers should be focus and work in the type of customer oriented. They must keep two marketing truisms. The first is to retain existing customers and bring your market to your potential customers. The second strategy is implementing win-back campaigns for previous customers.


3. Anticipate your customers needs and wants.

With behavioral targeting, you can prepare and provide the plan for current clients based on what they wants and needs. You can use it as the basic information for your marketing strategy and decision which is suitable for your future clients needs.

By doing prediction on behavioral targeting, it will allow marketers to be ahed of the bell curve. For example, iPhone is successfully become the first global smart phone among its competitors by providing the users apps with full easy touch screen internet access.


Behavioral targeting can provide consumers everything they need before they even realize they need it, which almost always guarantees a sale. Online businesses can anticipate consumer browsing habits and offer suggestions that lead to your products.


4. Productivity Increasing

Behavioral targeting is a media for the company to increase productivity without spending much initially. It is already involved the study about clients behavior in average. In addition, you can make sure that your advertisement will be seen by the clients based on their behavior.  Utilizing behavioral targeting tactics and focusing your advertising efforts on your target audience allows you to cut time and costs of behavioral targeting.

On the other hand, if company can put the appropriate service in marketing, it will be appreciated by the clients. With the best price tag as expected by the clients, it will make the significant increasing for the sales profit.
